Diana Wang – Dedication and Ethics

Photo of Diana WangIn a city full of real estate agents, what makes the difference for buyers and sellers? I firmly believe that I owe my success as a real estate agent here in the Lower Mainland to my clients and to the durable relationships I have built with them. Long term relationships are the key, and I build them by demonstrating my professionalism. By professionalism I mean my loyalty, my dedication, and my firm ethical standards. I am confident that after a buyer works with me, the day will come eventually that they want to sell again, and they will choose to list with me. So, as we search through likely properties the first time around, I stay constantly alert to issues that may not surface until years in the future. I know that when my client lists with me again, their headache will be my headache, so I make sure when we’re buying that selling will also go smoothly.

My clients know that I am completely committed to their search for the right home, and that my commitment is for the long term. They rely on me to select only suitable properties and to make the extra effort that yields success. One time a client listed their house with me, and within a short time we accepted an offer just below asking price. With one day to go before subject removal the buyer withdrew. That was Friday. I immediately called other potential buyers and showed the property twice on Friday and once again on Saturday. We had multiple offers and settled that night for six thousand more than asking price, a net gain for the seller of $10,000.

I believe very strongly in what I do, and it is the strength of this belief that keeps me pushing to reach the best possible outcome in every situation. As a professional real estate agent I am proud of my standards. My clients rely on me. They count on my loyalty, my diligence and my ethics. Beyond these values, all I need is once in awhile a little luck to share with my clients/friends. Most of all, I love this business. I love the looks on people’s faces when, because of my dedication, things turn out for the best.
